Complete Teaching Of Quran-E-Majeed

Educational Stages

In order to memorize the Holy Quran, the department of the Holy Quran has been divided into four departments

Department of Qaeda

Department of Qaeda, under the supervision of Ma’arif-ul-Qur’an, has a great fame for its unique style of teaching. It takes approximately six months for a normal student to complete Qaeda with all its specific rules that are called “Tajweed Qawaid”, and they are frequently practiced with the help of whiteboard. After such practices, students become able to recite the Qur’an gracefully and expressively. Students who came from the seminaries go through the examination and sent to the department of Qaeda to improve themselves –if they are found a mistake in the rules of Qaeda. This procedure has always been found very useful and helpful.

Course Duration: Six months

Course: Al-Maarif Qaeda, Al-Maarif Islamiat, Al-Maarif calligraphy, Practical prayer practice

Required Ability: Complete letter of recognition, Fluent Reading

Department of Nazra

Nazra plays backbone for Hifz. A student needs to recite the Qur’an flawlessly or else Hifz-e-Qur’an will be difficult. Therefore, after completing Qaeda students learn Nazra up to three volumes of the Holy Qur’an, meanwhile, they acquire the ability to recite the entire Qur’an according to the rules of Tajweed. After that, they are sent to the Hifz class.

Course Duration: 6 months

Courses: Recitation of Qur’an from five easy parah for the purpose of Salah.

Requirement: Ability to recite the Holy Quran as per the rules of Tajweed.

Department of Hifz-e-Qur’an (Learning by Heart)

One must be active, attentive, and passionate for Hifz-e-Qur’an. Teachers, students, guardians, and the institute play a vital role in this regard. A little carelessness from any one of them can become a big hurdle in achieving the required results. It is said, “the slightest negligence creates sever changes.

Ma’arif-ul-Qur’an has formulated an excellent educational program to achieve the best results and every student is closely monitored during this period. Daily, monthly, quarterly and annual reports are prepared. Quantity and quality of the lesson is always monitored. Special attention is given for having a good grip on previous memorized volumes of the Qur’an. As soon as the weakness in memorization comes to light, the causes are considered and prevented through mutual consultation and appropriate strategy”.

Department of Conjugation (GARDAAN)

After memorization of the Quran it becomes necessary to repeat it over and over to modify the reciting skills. This process is called ‘Conjugation (Gardaan)”. Keeping in view the necessity and importance of Gardaan, a regular department has been set up in Ma’arif-ul-Qur’an where students revise the Qur’an repeatedly for a period of eight months to one year. During this process, full attention is paid to Tajweed and tone of voice. The annual exams of this department are held under Wifaq-ul-Madaris-al-Arabia Pakistan. Students of this department participate in competitions held on national level. They are specially prepared for this and our students have won many awards in these competitions.
